At the heart of our craft is a deep appreciation for Japan’s rich culture — where tradition, precision, and artistry converge in every detail. We were inspired not only by Japan’s long-standing mastery in distillation but also by its unique relationship with the strawberry — a fruit celebrated like a seasonal jewel.
Designed With Meaning
The AWAYUKI logo is built around the Japanese kanji 苺, meaning strawberry. The name AWAYUKI also refers to a rare white strawberry variety from Japan, tying the brand directly to the fruit that inspired it. Within the character, red, pink, and white strawberries come together to represent the three distinct varieties used in our gin. The design reflects Japanese craftsmanship, natural strawberry infusion, and a delicate balance between tradition and something truly new.
Taste Notes
AWAYUKI captures the true integrity of the strawberry — delicate, natural, and never masked by artificial sweetness. The strawberry character comes through clean and refined, balanced by a minimal botanical structure of juniper, angelica, and coriander. The result is a smooth, fruit-forward gin with a crisp, clean finish that lets the strawberry shine without being overpowered.
